1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using getTutor360 ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users — students, tutors, and visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful. Tutors must be at least 18 years old.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gettutor360.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Tutor Verification
All tutor accounts are subject to a manual review process. Submission of false, misleading, or inaccurate credentials — including fabricated CVs or qualifications — will result in immediate permanent account termination. We reserve the right to reject any tutor application without providing a reason.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; post false or misleading information; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform; scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission; or use the Platform to solicit students or tutors outside the Platform to bypass our systems.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as bio text and subject descriptions). By submitting content, you grant getTutor360 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and promote that content within the Platform. All Platform design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of getTutor360 and may not be reproduced without written permission.
7. Payments and Transactions
The Platform is currently free to join and browse. Future paid features or booking systems will be governed by additional terms published at that time. Any payment disputes must be raised within 14 days of the transaction.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the Platform will meet your specific requirements. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, getTutor360 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@gettutor360.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable international law. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
