We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, country, and role (student or tutor). Tutors additionally provide a CV and subject expertise. We also collect basic usage data such as pages visited and session duration to improve platform performance. We do not collect payment information directly — any future payment processing will be handled by certified third-party providers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve the getTutor360 platform: to verify tutor qualifications, to match students with relevant tutors, to communicate platform updates, and to maintain account security. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your personal information to any third party — ever.

4. CV and Document Privacy

CVs and qualification documents submitted by tutors during registration are stored securely and accessed only by our internal verification team. They are never displayed publicly to students or shared externally. Documents are deleted upon account closure upon request.

5. Cookies

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting privacy@gettutor360.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

getTutor360 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
